Deer Hunting

Deer hunting in Southern Illinois is probably some of the best hunting a hunter can find, as far as quality and consistency in deer management. We have farm fields that have very good fence row cover as well as wooded bottom ground cover. We have very accessible locations to whatever kind of hunt you would enjoy. Hunting may be done in different locations in different ways according to the hunter's needs. You may bring your own deer stand, or we have permanent stands placed in strategic locations. Reservations for the 2008 hunting season need to be made immediately if not sooner!

2008 dates bow hunting OCTOBER 1, 2008 - January 13, 2009

Except for shotgun season November 17th - 19st and November 30 - December 3, 2008

Bow Hunting will be allowed from October 2008 - January 2008

Rules and regulations

1. Hunters must stay in areas placed.
2. Shoot only mature bucks with at least a 16" outside spread and at least a 6 point buck or a doe.
3. Must respect other hunters.
4. Reservations 50% of hunt price.
5. Balance due when you arrive.
6. Deposit nonrefundable unless 30 days notice given.
7. Permits are for 1 buck and 1 doe.
8. The hunt is for 1 trophy deer.
9. Taking a trophy is not guaranteed.
10. $500 charge for 2nd trophy buck
11. Licenses, fees, shipping, meat processing, txidermy are hunters responsibility.

Camper hook ups and kitchen available at preserve if needed Beginning 2004 season we will have over night accommodations on location will have a full kitchen shower, microwave TV, VCR.

We will be able to accommodate 6 hunters per week. Package hunts include these accommodations; sandwiches etc will be available at clubhouse.

Evening meals will be able to be catered ranging from $8-$12 dollars per meal some choices will be ribs, smoked chicken, pork chops etc.

Non-Guided Hunts - Bowhunting

1. October 1-31....$1500.00...5 day hunt
2. November 1-30...$1700.00...5 day hunt
3. December $1500.00...5 day hunt
4. This Includes comfortable lodging
5. Private land to hunt on 1000 + acres
6. Meals are not included catered meals are possible - Add $100 per week
7. Sodas, sandwiches, etc will be available in club house.

We are flexible according to your needs and the type of hunt you would enjoy.
1. We also have quail, pheasant and chukar hunting also.
2. You may bring your own tree stands if you like. and permit applications can be sent to you if you would like.
3. Hunting will be done in different ways depending upon location
4. Safety harness is a must when hunting from stands.
